My name is Courtney. I live in Coplay, PA with my husband (John) and our energetic 5 year old son (JP) as well as my 2 year old daughter (Addisyn). I am a 7th and 8th grade Math teacher at Whitehall Coplay School District. In my free time, I coach cheerleading at a local school district. I went to Penn State University and cheered for 2 years (with fellow Travel Planner Steph). I then continued my education at Kutztown University to obtain my Secondary Education degree in Mathematics. I recently received my ESL Certification to better serve the students in my classes.
A Fun Fact About Courtney
My whole life, I wanted to be a veterinarian because I love animals, however that took a turn when I realized I can’t be afraid of snakes, needles, and blood, in order to have this profession. I decided to become a teacher thinking I would not have to deal with those things, and man was I wrong. I had a student one time, bring a snake to school in their pocket! 🙂
What is your first memory of Disney World?
When I was 13 my dad took my sisters and I to Disney World for 4 days and then the Disney Cruise for 3 days. Our favorite part was the teen center. I made a lot of new friends that I was able to spend vacation with.
What does a perfect day in a Disney park look like to you?
A perfect day in a Disney Park looks like getting up early to get to the park before it opens to the public. (Animal Kingdom would be my first park of the day) I would ride the Safari first. The Lion King show would be the next main attraction and eat a Mickey Mouse ice cream sandwich. I would end my day in Magic Kingdom to see the fireworks and eat dinner at Be Our Guest.
What would you say you specialize in with your planning? What makes you stand out from anyone else?
I absolutely LOVE all things Disney. I have been to the parks multiple times as a teenager, a young adult, and now an adult with kids. I love numbers so I love to make sure you have the BEST experience around your budget.
